Dubai is a very low tax jurisdiction with no direct income, corporate or property taxes.

 

Income Tax

 

Residents in Dubai pay no income, capital gains or inheritance taxes.

Dubai does not operate any kind of taxation system that requires residents to file financial records or tax returns.

 

Property Tax

 

There are no property taxes applied to residential real estate in Dubai. Rental income and capital gains are free of any taxation.

Tenants are required to pay a housing fee tax calculated at 5% of the rental value of the property they occupy, this fee is collected as part of the properties utility bill payments.

Corporate Tax

There are no corporate taxes for companies operating in Dubai with the exception of  companies operating in the oil and gas industry and branches of foreign banks operating in Dubai.
